The Golden Retriever is the most selected family breed of dog. Not only are they stunning to the eye,
with their beautiful, long flowing coat, and soft kind eye expression. They are also known for their high

and time we devote to each litter, should you be considering a South Wind puppy. We are a small select
kennel, and raise only 1 to 2 litters a year. We plan our litters accordingly so that the puppies have our
undivided attention from birth. This assures that your arrival is very well socialized, extremely healthy,
and happy when leaving our home to yours..
Our puppies are born and raised in our home, in a clean healthy environment. They are kept clean,
warm, and dry on fleece pads and blankets. They are handled daily from birth. "Puppy photography"
and video begins when they are newborns, and each week thereafter so you can enjoy watching them
grow, while waiting to bring home your precious baby.
We begin clipping nails at two weeks. Begin the bathing/blow drying process at three weeks. We worm
at 2,4, & 6 weeks, and feed nothing less than quality puppy food, when the weaning process begins.
The moms are given NuVet Plus daily. Our puppies begin NuVet as well daily, when they reach 6 weeks
of age.
Prior to our puppies leaving, at the age of 8 weeks, they are fully examined by our veterinarian. They
then receive their first vaccination and full health exam, to assure excellent health prior to leaving.
Each puppy comes with a health certificate, worming / vaccination record, puppy pack starter kit,
sample of NuVet Plus, and its own personal booklet with litter photos, and literature to read on how to
care for your puppy when he/she arrives home with you. We offer a 2 year health guarantee.
Your puppy will leave fully groomed smelling clean and fluffy. We are always here to help offer
guidance through the stages of puppy into adult if needed. We want nothing less than the best home
for our puppies, and a completely satisfied client.
